Why wash a car with two buckets?
The first bucket holds the shampoo, the second clean water to rinse the mitt after each pass. Dirt stays in the rinse bucket instead of going back onto the paint and scratching it. A grit guard at the bottom keeps it away from the mitt.
How should I care for microfibre cloths?
Wash them separately, without fabric softener and at 40 °C at most, then air-dry them: softener clogs the fibres and makes them less absorbent.
